Satan’s Discouragement

Discouragement...It’s one of Satan’s stand-bys. He wants believers to focus on the bad things in our lives so we will become discouraged and defeated. But the Lord Jesus uses Satan’s discouragement to empower our faith. The cross is the ultimate example of Jesus turning Satan’s plan upside down. The cross discouraged the disciples. They felt defeated and afraid as they watched Jesus take the worst of what Satan and this world could offer...But when He rose from the dead they would never be discouraged again. They realized nothing could defeat their Lord and that He had empowered them to overcome ALL in His name...AND SO ARE YOU!
