A Troubling Promise

There’s a promise in the Bible we often overlook. “In this world you will have trouble.” (John 16:33). Yes, trouble is a reality for everyone. So how do we deal with it? For a believer, trouble is just another example of God keeping His word. He said it would come and here it is...But trouble offers believers the opportunity to embrace one of Jesus Christ’s best promises...His Peace...in any circumstance. His offer of peace and rest for the weary is available immediately to all who call on His name. His peace will settle you. So, “Dedicate yourselves fully to the Lord and get rid of everything that hinders your commitment to Him.” (Jeremiah 4:4). In doing so, you will enjoy His peace today.
