Satan thought he’d won as he corrupted the hearts of many people. They could no longer tell the difference between good and evil. Cheering as a man who had loved all, healed the sick, told the truth, and even raise the dead, was publicly murdered. Yes, Satan believed he was in control. But he was wrong. For God’s love for people is greater than Satan’s power to harm, kill, and destroy. God had sent His Son, Jesus the Messiah on a salvage mission, not to condemn, but to save those deceived by Satan’s lies. Jesus is the Son of God.
