Supply and Demand

The world operates on supply and demand. If people will pay for it, someone will provide it. Jesus, the Messiah, knows people create demand by idolizing wealth, celebrity, beauty, and political power. Believers can reduce the supply of worldliness and increase the demand for the Lord, by pursuing what is true, noble, right, and pure (Philippians 4:8a). Chasing worldly idols wears people out, following the Lord invigorates. So, you tired? The Messiah is calling. “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:27-29). Jesus has what the world needs. Increase demand for Christ by resting in Him.
